When sourcing the ideal locations for our Waterlodges to be based in, we were keen only to pick destinations which reflected our floating apartment’s luxurious and beautiful design… We’re happy to report that Birdham Pool Marina is no exception! The Marina combines an area of outstanding natural beauty with the history of Chichester Harbour. Although its historical roots are deep, the Marina boasts contemporary and modern facilities, including an outstanding boatyard.
Birdham Pool Marina is believed to be one of the oldest marinas in England, originally opening in 1937. One of its most prominent features is the Birdham Mill, which can be traced back to 1768. Today, the Marina is noted for its beauty, rich history and calmness – a great place to escape to for a quiet and scenic long weekend.
