What is British Marine?Â
British Marine is the trade association for the UK leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry and has over 1,500 members who have come from a broad range of businesses, including boat builders, chandlers, brokers, marinas, passenger boats and engines.
The core aim of their business is to help the boating community to thrive and to deliver amazing water experiences for everyone. They have expertise in a variety of different areas including in-depth technical services, representation with government and non-governmental bodies, UK and global marine trade development, legal services and general business advice.
How does British Marine support its members?
British Marine supports their members with the following:
- Conducting research on UK and international marine markets
- Promoting members’ products and services through national marketing campaigns
- Providing technical, regulatory and manufacturing information and advice for businesses in the industry
- Assisting with training and recruitment
- Liaising with governments and authorities
- Promoting the marine industry
