Reflecting on 2023 and anticipating a more sustainable future: a year in review for Waterlodge UK
As 2023 draws to a close, it’s natural to take a moment to look back at the achievements and milestones of the year while peering into the promising horizon of 2024. For Waterlodge UK, this past year has been nothing short of dynamic, marked by an array of shows, expansion into new locations, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable living for those looking for an alternative life on the water.
Showcasing innovation: Boatlife at the NEC and beyond
The year kicked off with a splash at Boatlife in the NEC, where Waterlodge UK debuted the Waterlodge Eden 14 for the first time in the UK. This followed the successful world premiere launch at Boot Dusseldorf in January. The momentum continued with the Crick Boat Show in Northants, culminating in the flagship Southampton International Boat Show in September and the Holiday Park and Resort Innovation Show at the NEC in November. As we look forward to 2024, these shows remain integral to our calendar, promising exciting opportunities for existing owners and future customers to engage with us and shape our growth.
Expanding horizons: new locations across the country
Understanding the importance of location to our customers and the need for more options across the country, 2023 saw the addition of eight Aquavista Watersides and Marinas locations nationwide. Further expanding our reach, we established a presence at Barton Marina in Staffs, Liverpool Marina, Redhill Marina in Notts, and Shepperton Marina on the Thames. The coming year holds the promise of even more locations, with potential developments in the South East of England and exclusive opportunities on the South Coast. If you have preferred locations that we haven’t explored yet, do reach out and discuss the possibilities with us.
Commitment to sustainability: a green future for Waterlodge
In a world undergoing profound changes, both environmentally and socially, Waterlodge UK is dedicated to leading the way in sustainable living and development. In 2023, we initiated new partnerships focused on essential areas of sustainable business and living. The introduction of innovative products, grounded in sustainable principles from production methods to materials, demonstrates our commitment to a greener future.
The existing Waterlodge UK products are not left behind in this sustainability journey. Upgrades are in progress, integrating new technologies for power generation and usage. Higher levels of insulation, the option of triple-glazed glass, and heat pump heating aim to further reduce the environmental footprint of Waterlodge UK floating homes. Our focus is not only on creating beautiful and functional living spaces but also on ensuring that these spaces align with a conscientious, eco-friendly lifestyle.
Looking ahead: a bright future for Waterlodge UK in 2024
As we bid farewell to 2023, we stand on the cusp of an exciting new year. The Waterlodge UK team is poised to continue the journey of innovation, expansion, and sustainability. We invite you to join us in shaping a future where modern living harmonizes with environmental consciousness. Together, let’s navigate the waters of 2024, anchored in our commitment to providing exceptional living experiences that stand as testaments to a brighter, greener tomorrow.
